Thanks nick. I picked up this book the other day in chapters. I read a couple sections. He sounds like a first year philosophy/psych major trying to sound profound in class. What he doesn't realize is that the rest of the class is thinking, "shut up and sit down." That hogwash about it being risky to write against religion is hilarious.
