Faithful Anglican Protests During Gene Robinson's Sermon

Openly gay US bishop Gene Robinson was forced to halt a sermon at a west London church after being called on to repent. You can watch the video here.

May God give more young people courage like this young man to stand up for truth and for the gospel. I am thankful for this young man: for his faithfulness, his boldness, his love for Christ, his love for the church, and his love for the truth.

I'm with you, Nick. When I watched this video, all I could think was, 'Man, I don't know if I'd have the guts to do something like that!' I'm thankful that this guy did.

The funny thing about this video is that the guy who rebuked the 'bishop' didn't really look like a guy you would expect to be a conservative evangelical. Just goes to show ya. :-)

Ya, you're right...if you go by looks (cultural stereotypes, etc.) it would look like Bishop Gene would be the conservative and the protester would be the liberal. However, didn't Jesus say something about "whitewashed tombs"? The protester reminds me of John the Baptist...

Thanks for the post. While the video shows one thing, the article shows something else, doesn't it? That is, how a non-Christian interprets what happened. I don't consider the young man a heckler, rather a brave soul who stands for the Gospel above all. God bless that young man!
