Some Great Martin Luther Quotes

Martin Luther, the famous church reformer said this:

'I am more afraid of my own heart than of the pope and all his cardinals. I have within me the great pope, Self.'

'If I am not allowed to laugh in heaven, I don't want to go there.'

'Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave.'

'Pray, and let God worry.'

'Who loves not women, wine and song remains a fool his whole life long.'

'I am afraid that the schools will prove the very gates of hell, unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures and engraving them in the heart of the youth.'

Thanks to Wes.

Hey Nick... first time on your blog, I've enjoyed looking around. I like these quotes. A little while ago I stumbled across this . It's an advertisement for relics that Luther wrote anonymously for a local paper... very funny.

Enjoy, and keep up the good blogging!

Nick,
Thrilled and thankful to hear of other "old kinds" in Rexdale! Saw a link here on the Son of Man's blog and came over.
May the Lord richly bless you in your ministry and in blogging, brother!

Paul,

Thanks for the encouragement. I have been really enjoying spending time with Josh. I am impressed with his faith, his love for people, and his love for God and His Word. May God continue to bless your church ministry! Your brother in Christ,

Nick
